Chocolate Lava Cake

The very first thing that I have baked is my sister's recipe, the Chocolate Lava Cake using Lindt Dark chocolates. My sister and niece loved it so much, so I decided to make one for our wedding anniversary. I followed her recipe and I was glad it turned out good and hubby loved it too! Yay! :) 

To make the Chocolate Lava Cake, I started melting the whole bar of Lindt 70% Dark Chocolates in the double boiler together with the butter. I added the sugar and egg afterward and lastly the flour. After mixing all the ingredients together, I baked it for 10 to 13 minutes. My first attempt was good according to my hubby, hehehe...

This is how it looked on my heart-shaped pan... I made this cake on my sister's birthday and I made one too on my daughter's 2nd birthday.  By the way, Chocolate Lava Cake is also known as Molten chocolate cake. When you slice it, you'll see the melted chocolate inside which is really creamy and absolutely yummy! It became my favorite! :)

I'm happy my elder sister shared this recipe with me, my younger sister and my little one loved it... :) They said it is best to eat it with vanilla ice cream... hmmm... I'm going to try it next time... :)

Hello World!

Yeah, just like the output of a computer program that displays "Hello World!" on the screen.

I used to make circuits and do programs for our projects. I used to hold wires, ICs (Integrated Circuit), soldering iron, and even burn myself a lot of times doing what we have to do. I thought I really wanted the course I have taken which is B.S. in Computer Engineering. I even fought for it when my Mom asked me to take a B.S. in Pharmacy, which my sister took after I graduated. Then later on, I found myself fascinated with art and photography. I didn't pursue it either, lol. 

When I was in college, I liked making crafts like jewelry and I also liked making simple desserts. Now that I am a mom of a soon-to-be 2-year-old toddler, I have found a new passion which is baking. Yeah, I first baked brownies which turned out to be okay. After that, I tried making cakes, cake pops, and cookies. It was fun and I loved it when out of the blue, my daughter would ask for cake pops or cookies. :)

Anyway, I will really try to update this new blog of mine. Will post some of the things I made and will try to make in the future... :)
